Pat brings 30 years of international experience across six continents in site investigations, environmental planning, habitat protection, and EHS management. Trained as both a Geologist and Hydrologist, he earned a distinction for his M.Sc. thesis on surface and groundwater modelling at Cardiff University. Early in his career, he focused on nature-based solutions for stormwater and effluent management, applying wetland habitats, more ecologically focused solutions, and compliance-driven strategies to achieve practical environmental outcomes.
Over the past decade, his work expanded into EHS leadership, with expertise in hazardous substances management, health & safety compliance, and risk assessment. As an ISO Management System Auditor across ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001, and in his role as EHS Lead for a multinational in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry, Pat gained valuable insight into how global organisations balance sustainability, compliance, and performance.
